Queen of the Cones creates decadent and delicious handmade cheesecake waffle cones for any occasion!
Leia Kennar, once known as a teen mom - now, turned Entrepreneur…and “Queen of the Cones”.
In 2016 Leia started a home based cake business "Inspired by Leia" offering specialty cakes. Her top sellers were the famous Strawberry Cheesecake Crunch cake and the Banana pudding cake.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Leia was working as a phlebotomist at a local Kansas City hospital, fell ill and had to take a medical leave of absence. Without any sick time left at work, she had to figure out how to continue to support herself and her children, as she was putting both through college on a single household income.
In April of 2020 Leia decided to revamp her business and Queen of the Cones came to life!
Waffle cones became the new inspiration for Leia’s baking after wanting to create a more unique & personal dessert.
